The development journey of Binded began with a simple concept: to create a reliable tool for individuals and couples to manage BDSM-related habits, rules, and personal growth. Starting from initial design screens, Binded has evolved into a fully functional mobile app, now available on the Play Store, with just over 100 daily active users globally.

A Growing User Base Across Continents While the majority of our Binded users are based in the United States, we are witnessing steady growth and engagement from users across every continent. Binded has quickly gained popularity as a trusted tool for building and maintaining BDSM dynamics in a structured and responsible manner.

Play Store Update The Play Store has been very supportive in having us onboard. We have had a very good experience with Google. Though, we have noticed that a time lag between the time we push out a patch, to the time users are able to download the patch. The publishing-lag looks like this:

While this creates unavoidable delays, our priority remains delivering a secure and functional app to our users. For the people who have stuck around, we are very grateful. App Store Update Binded has encountered resistance from the App Store on grounds of “adult themes” despite being non-explicit and having no nudity of any form. We are still in talks with them periodically, but the reality is that Apple holds both “the gate” and “the keys to the gate”.

We will continue to employ our best efforts in getting onto the App Store. In the meantime, we will refine the user experience on Android. So that when the gate do open, iOS users will have a much better experience.
